Senior Snapshot: Emaan Khan
With every new school year comes a new senior class. Graduation will come sooner than most think and the realization that it’s almost the end of their high school years is setting in with the senior class. This school year, we’ll take a look at different seniors, taking a snapshot of their life and sharing their story with all.
Senior Emaan Khan has been at Brownell Talbot for fourteen years. She shared that BT’s small family-like community is what she loves about the school. “Over the years I’ve grown very close to people in my class and the teachers at BT. The school’s small size makes it easy to build strong friendships and relationships with teachers.”
When asked what her favorite class of high school has been, Emaan replied, “My favorite class was physics during junior years. The class was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot of new material.”
On campus, Emaan enjoys being a part of sports club. In the spring, she is a part of the girl’s tennis team and shared that she has made many memories from tennis: “Tennis season is a really fun time. I’ve made great friends through the team and really like playing tennis for the school. I’m excited for my last tennis season in the spring.”
As her time at BT comes to an end, Emaan shared that she is happy and excited. She said, “All my years here have been great, but I’m excited to go somewhere new after high school.” She shared that she is most excited for the senior trip later in the year.
To end, Emaan shared some advice for any incoming freshmen: “Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your teachers”.
