In addition to our recurring Community Voices section, this month Verbatim reached out to students in the Lower School to hear what they have to say about school, lunch, and dinosaurs.
What is your favorite part of school?

“The dinosaur would have sharp teeth, no pattern, just black and red eyes. A creepy dinosaur. It would be called Ultraindominius!” – Bruce, Kindergarten
“I would make a dinosaur with a kitty unicorn dinosaur head and it’s furry with pink sparkles. I would name mine Ella” – Vivienne, 1st grade

“My dinosaur is named the velociraptor. It’s basically a messed-up velociraptor with an oversized head. OH, and it doesn’t have hair… It’s got scales and giant fingernails. And his mouth is shaped like a donkey” – Drew, 2nd

“The one with the tall neck and very fuzzy and you can ride it. It would have spots. I would name it spot” – Sadie, 3rd grade
“I would have a T-Rex and it would have a run sign so that people would know to run away from him. It would be a vegetarian and also have a long neck. It would be named STOP SIGN” – Titus, 3rd grade
“A velociraptor with spikes and its name would be Spike and you could ride it.” – Landus, 3rd grade
“It would probably have wings and stripes and wings and spots. I would name mine Tara” – Kenzie, 4th
“I would turn a t-rex into having longer arms and then goes to space. I would name mine Joe” – Layne, 4th
“I would probably have a pterodactyl and t-rex morph in one, and every time it blinks it shoots lasers. I would name mine PT-REX in all caps.” – Cash, 4th
