Restaurant Review: Jaipur Indian Restaurant and Brewing

An Omaha favorite for many years has become a fixture in the Dundee neighborhood as well.

The decor inside Jaipur is both cozy and inviting; the mural on the back wall of the Dundee location is the same as appears in their original location in Rockbrook Village.

A recently opened Indian restaurant in Dundee, owned by the Bhandari family, was an amazing experience. Of all of the Indian restaurants we have been to, Jaipur has broken our scale when it comes to executing delicious Indian cuisines. The restaurant provides a wide and rich variety of flavors throughout the Indian palate. When we went there we ordered these items: Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo, Spinach Bread, Veggie Samosas, Butter Chicken, and rice!

When we entered the restaurant, a server immediately brought us to a table and asked us what we needed. After a few minutes of surveying the menu, we ordered spinach bread, chicken tikka makhani, samosas, butter chicken, and lamb vindaloo. The food came out piping hot and tasted better than any Indian restaurant we’d ever been to. Our favorite was spinach bread which is a classic spinach-stuffed naan appetizer; naan is by far the most popular bread in Indian cuisine and is the favorite flatbread around the world.

Here are our honest reviews on each item:

Overall, we would highly encourage you to go to this restaurant! It has a variety of Indian food including seafoods, chicken, vegetarian options, etc for anyone. Their food ranges from spicy to sweet, and is perfect for any age group! You can visit Jaipur at either of their locations in Rockbrook or Dundee!
