The Raider Rush Podcast: Construction Update

To start the school year, Abbi and Nya meet with Dr. Gibbs to discuss the new building.

This month of the Raider Rush co-hosts, Abbi Gibbs and Nya Ping, explore the new opportunities that will be given to students with the construction of the new building. They talk with the Head of School, Dr. Gibbs, about the budget, her favorite aspects of the new building, and updates made to accommodate BT’s new lower school curriculum. Before speaking with Dr. Gibbs, Abbi and Nya got a private tour of the new building, where they saw everything from the renovated classrooms to the new atrium.

Abbi Gibbs is a current Senior at Brownell Talbot and this is her fourth year on the Verbatim staff. Abbi enjoys interviewing members of the BT community about activities and athletics. When she isn’t working on Verbatim, Abbi enjoys playing volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Outside of School, Abbi plays club soccer for Gretna and will be attending South Dakota State University next year to play division one soccer.

Nya Ping, Staff Writer

Nya Ping is currently a Senior at Brownell Talbot. This is her fourth year as a staff writer, and she enjoys interviewing members of the BT community about the year-round sports and activities taking place on campus. Outside of Verbatim, Nya participates in lacrosse, volleyball, basketball, and track.
