December Community Voices: Christmas Favorites

For December’s Community Voices, we asked different members of the Brownell Talbot community what their favorite Christmas song or movie is. With the holiday break starting in a few days, these Christmas favorites are great options for blasting music in the car or watching a movie with hot cocoa.

“My favorite Christmas movie is the live action movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas from 2000 because it shows the true joys of the holidays.”

Tanya Bachu, Editor-in-Chief

Tanya Bachu, a senior at Brownell Talbot, is entering her fourth year in journalism. She is also involved with the National Honor Society and Culture Club. Outside of school, she loves binge-watching the show Friends and playing tennis. Tanya is excited for another great year with Verbatim, eager to spotlight students' voices and create a unique showcase for the school.

Angel Bhandari, Assignment Editor (Culture)

Angel is a junior at Brownell Talbot, and this is her third year on Verbatim. On campus, she is involved in robotics, varsity cheer, speech, science olympiad, and is on the head of the school's student advisory council! She also co-founded the Medical Minds Club and is the Treasurer for DECA here on campus. Additionally, she holds a leadership role within Verbatim, as an Assignment Editor!
