Tanya: When I study, I constantly need a drink to keep me energized. The passion fruit tea with mango popping boba and mango jelly with no ice from Thirst Tea is my favorite drink for completing deadlines. It gives me a boost of energy and its taste is very flavorful. When thinking about snacks, my favorite ones for studying are fruit roll-ups and guacamole with chips. They are super delicious and keep me going as I push through different assignments. I also love Goldfish Crackers and the Original Premium Saltine Crackers because they are good classics.
Katie: While I don’t typically snack while studying, I focus on making my actual meals count throughout the day. I prioritize a hearty lunch and dinner, ensuring I get the nutrients I need to stay energized and focused. My mornings tend to be rushed, so I often skip breakfast altogether, which means I rely on those main meals to fuel my studying sessions. I believe that having substantial meals helps me maintain my concentration and stamina during long study periods, allowing me to stay engaged with my work without the distraction of snacking.
Jana: Staying energized and keeping a positive attitude while studying and filling out college applications is extremely important. The best way to do this is to keep snacks around. Some snacks that I like to eat at home are Chobani Flips and fresh fruit. The best flavors of Chobani Flips are the cookie dough and peanut butter cup flavors. If I’m going out to study, I love to go to Blue Line and get a large iced matcha latte with oat milk. I will usually pick up a pastry to go along with my matcha as well; some of my favorite pastries are chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, banana chocolate chip muffins, and bagels with peanut butter. Some say that matcha tastes like grass, but I feel as though the milky subtly sweet flavor and the slow-release caffeine perfectly accompany a Critical Precís essay.
William: My favorite thing to eat while I study is definitely Wheat Thins. Wheat Thins are absolutely delicious and make me laser focused on my studies. Wheat thins taste so good and I could literally eat them for hours straight. I also like to eat as much fruit as possible while I study. Fruit gives me energy and helps me focus while I’m working. I will usually eat apples, bananas, and sometimes blueberries. I also try to study after I eat lunch or dinner so I can be more focused and study for longer periods of time without getting tired. Another thing I love to snack on while I study is goldfish, especially the colored goldfish which are better than the normal ones.
