Dear Susie,
I have a predicament. My friends are trying to commit to a New Year’s resolution, but they don’t ever follow through. How do I encourage them to follow their resolutions? And how do I keep myself on track to accomplish my resolutions in the future?
Sincerely,
Nervous Nancy
Dear Nervous Nancy,
The key to staying on track with resolutions is to be organized. You could utilize calendars and schedule times to complete resolutions. In order to follow through with your resolutions, it is important to keep these resolutions as a priority and not to skip them because you are too tired. Resolutions are meant for you to become your best self throughout the year. If you regret not doing your resolutions, then you should take action. Keeping yourself on track is important and to do this you must take time out of your schedule to complete them. A journal, planner, apps, or even reminders on your phone can help you keep up with your resolutions. Try not to plan other activities over these scheduled times, but if unavoidable then it is ok, but don’t make it a habit. Be organized and you can do this!!
Sincerely,
Susie
