2024 has been a unique year for a few reasons. An election, a solar eclipse, and the Olympics were some of the highlights, but what about music?
With the year coming to a close, we thought that a fitting way to end it was to compile a playlist of our favorite songs of the year. As big country music fans, we felt that in order to be fair we should restrict ourselves to (mostly) only one song per artist and try to diversify the genres showcased in the playlist. This proved to be a challenge, as we were hard-pressed to find many songs that were enjoyable. We also wanted to showcase some lesser-known artists while making sure the music wasn’t totally obscure.
Some artists that we found to consistently release enjoyable music throughout the year were Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Lettuce.
