

As the Spring play comes around, my role as a costumer has returned. The significant 1940’s direction for the costumes has had me referencing older catalogues of the time and I wanted to do a proper study of the images I referenced the most when designing. While I cannot find the specific artist(s) whose work is shown in the Sear’s catalogues, I did notice a similarity to J.C Leyendecker’s work, who I studied earlier this year.
