Water doesn’t scare us! Rainy weather should never stop you from looking your best. When it rains, the instinct for all of us is to get the nearest oversized hoodie and hide beneath a worn-out umbrella, but remember it isn’t your only option!

Of course, for a rainy day, we have to start with a trench coat. A timeless trench coat is the holy grail of rainy-day fashion. Think dark and neutral colors: grays, beige, and black are some fan favorites. A cinched waist and structured shoulders will keep you looking polished even when the weather says otherwise. We have a great option from Gap that is clean and beige.

If you’re not into the Founding Father look we completely understand! Here’s another great option from Amazon, it’s cheaper and longer if you want to be more comfortable.

No one likes wet feet, so we have our good friend, rain boots. Black or grey is best when it comes to footwear on rainy days. Here are these amazing boots from Amazon that scream comfortable and chic.

Rainy days usually mean unpredictable temperatures. Lightweight layers are the key to success on rainy days. Think breathable knits, cotton button-downs, or a sleek turtleneck under your coat. Keep textures interesting, but don’t forget to stay comfortable while you do it. Nice sweaters from Shein are always a good option because they are super affordable and usually hold up well!

Now, for umbrellas, umbrellas are out of style at the moment, but you can never go wrong with a nice, aesthetically pleasing black umbrella. Here’s an affordable one from Amazon.

With rainy weather, you’re going to want to avoid leather bags because they get wet way too easily and can damage the bag, so we recommend waterproof tote bags. They are super trendy right now, and you won’t have to worry about your items getting wet.

Rainy days are no reason to hide behind dull outfits. Embrace the rain with a great style, and let your wardrobe shine, no sunshine required!
