For the May edition of this year’s Revered Raiders, we reached out to Jordan Haase. Jordan, whose younger sister still attends Brownell, graduated just last year.
What is your current occupation?
“I’m currently a freshman at the UNL majoring in Graphic Design. Recently, as a side hobby I decided to start publishing a book series called “Together In Chaos.” Going into college, I always knew I wanted to do something related to game design—it’s been a big passion of mine for a long time. I thought I might also get involved in sports, but along the way, I started discovering other interests like writing. That’s how it became my creative outlet and something I’ve grown to really love alongside my interest in game design and sports.”

How did attending BT help you get to your current status?
“Attending BT helped me get into the UNL. The school’s academic standards challenged me and prepared me for college coursework. BT’s strong academic reputation also stood out on my transcript, showing admissions officers that I was serious about my education and ready for the next level. The experience I gained at BT gave me what I needed to succeed in a university environment..”

What are some plans you have for the future?
“After I graduate from UNL, my goal is to work in the video game industry—whether that’s in game design, marketing, or another creative role. I’ve always loved video games, and I’m excited to turn that interest into a career. At the same time, I still plan to keep writing books as a hobby. Storytelling is something I’ve always enjoyed, and writing will always be a creative outlet for me.”
How do you give back to BT?
Haase gives back to BT by attending their sporting events once in while, to watch both his football team and younger sister Meelah in action.

Haase provided lots of advice to guide those who might be currently attending school.
“My advice for current students is that it’s not the end of the world if you don’t get an A or even a B on assignments, my grades weren’t that good and I still got to go to the college I wanted and major in my preferred major.” The alumn also added to “make the most of high school by how you wanna do it. I got through it not just by focusing on academics, but also by making time for the things I enjoy—like hanging out with friends and playing video games…Just make sure you make time for whatever makes you happy.”
The alumn attached the following email for students to contact him.
