The editors of The Ivy and the Ashlar are excited to share this year’s edition of Brownell Talbot’s creative publication, which includes over 20 pieces of original writing (poetry, fiction, translation, and more), as well as a wide range of images (photography, sketch, painting), all created by BT students, alumni, and faculty.
This year’s theme is “Petrichor,” which is a neologism coined to describe the way the earth smells after a rainstorm, and because the word is strongly associated with a scent, we are excited to distribute our first every multi-sensory edition of The Ivy and the Ashlar!
The magazine is free for anyone to take, and can be found in a variety of locations around campus. If you can’t find a copy, see Dr. Low, who always has a few extras in his classroom.
