For the first time in two years, Raider fans and players alike could finally celebrate under the Friday night lights. Snapping a 12-game losing streak, the raiders found a way to win in an electric atmosphere.
Last year, Falls City dominated the Raiders with a final score of 43-8. This year was a much different story, with a final score of 16-14. The Raiders battled their way through the close, competitive game, escaping with a win. This season, the Raiders have come out with renewed energy and determination, showing grit, and giving their fans plenty to be excited about. Notable plays from the game include Junior Rhett Urzendowski’s passing touchdown to Senior Perry Anderson, and Urzendowski’s rushing touchdown which came after a 70 yard run by Junior Owen Ohnoutka.
