Senior Snapshot: Josh Randolph
Graduation is fast approaching, and the realization that it’s almost the end of high school is setting in with the senior class. As the final months of the school year approach, we’ll take a look at a couple different seniors, taking a snapshot of their life and sharing their story with all.
Senior Josh Randolph has been at BT since fourth grade, so as his time at BT comes to a close, he shared, “I feel bittersweet because I have loved my time at BT and the friends I have made, but I am also very excited to start a new chapter in my life.”
On campus, Josh participates in a wide range of activities: robotics, strings, science bowl, and competition math. Over the years, his passion for robotics has grown and Josh has made several memories. He reflected, “My favorite memories from robotics have been from going to large competitions, like the World Robotics Championship.”
From being at BT for several years, Josh said his favorite part about the school is the small class sizes. He said, “It allows students to get to know their classmates and allows teachers to teach better than at bigger schools.”
As far as the last semester of high school, Josh is looking forward to graduation and said, “I’m excited for graduation so I can share the moment with my friends and my family.” In college he said, “I’m looking forward to taking classes in a wide variety of subjects and really get to explore my interests and passions, specifically in engineering.”
High school is full of a variety of emotions, but Josh ended by sharing a piece of advice that worked for him: “Don’t be afraid to explore new activities and interests so you can find something you are truly passionate about. Your experience will be much more enjoyable if you have an activity you love doing and look forward to.”
