Since Middle School, Paige Birch has been a standout on the Brownell Talbot Track and Field Team. Whether it was setting the Pole Vault Record in Middle School or her appearance in the Hurdles at the 2021 State Track and Field Meet, Paige has been determined to achieve her goals since day one.

On Monday March 28th, Paige Birch attended the Yutan Track and Field Meet in pole vault, as well as shot put, the 4×200, and the sprint medley relay. After many attempts, Birch successfully cleared 8 feet—setting a new school record. When asked how she accomplished this, Birch thanked her friends and coaches for the support they have given her: “I was given the opportunity to train twice at Creighton Prep thanks to Coach Lanum. My favorite part of track is the community that we share and work together to build with everyone supporting one another.”

Birch plans to finish this season off on a strong note and compete on the Track and Field Team next year as well. Congrats, Paige!
