Tomorrow will be a historic March Madness matchup: 4th Seed Nebraska Cornhuskers versus 9th Seed Iowa Hawkeyes. The Sweet 16 game will be at 6:30 PM, taking place in the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The Cornhuskers currently have a 28–6 record, while the Hawkeyes have a 23–12 record, and the ESPN matchup predictor has Nebraska winning at a 59.6 percent.

Here were the results from the Nebraska or Iowa survey sent out to BT upper school: The biggest surprise of this matchup is that Iowa made it to the Sweet 16. It was a close vote whether students predicted only Nebraska being making it this far or if students had neither team playing this Thursday. However, Nebraska is undeniably favored to win and progress to Elite 8… and that we grow better corn! Students report that Herbie the Husker is the better mascot and he will cheer us on to victory. It is indisputable that Nebraska is the better team and state— and we have hope to win tomorrow.

However, as much as we hope and pray, the winning team will be inevitably be decided at tomorrow’s game. While the predictions favor Nebraska, anything is possible— and the whole nation will watch this thrilling matchup!
