We sat in the dim glow of a dark classroom, as the question bounced around the room: where do you even go to get your hair done in Omaha? Everyone had an opinion, but no one had a clear answer. Some swore by one stylist, others had horror stories, and a few of us admitted we were still just guessing every time we booked an appointment.
That’s where this started. As the BT Verbatim staff, we realized we weren’t the only ones trying to figure it out, so we decided to actually dig deeper. We talked to each other, compared experiences, and then went out and interviewed people all over Omaha to find out where they really trust their hair. From longtime locals to students experimenting with new styles, we asked one simple question: who does it best?
What we found wasn’t just a list of salons, it was a mix of hidden gems, popular go-to spots, and salons people won’t stop recommending. Taking in the prices, the atmosphere, and time we ranked each salon to help the community know who to trust, and where to go.
