As spring settles in and the days grow longer, there’s a noticeable shift in energy around campus. Conversations drift from tests and assignments to travel plans, summer jobs, and time away with friends and family. With just a few months left in the school year, many are already counting down the days and imagining what summer will bring.
For some, summer means travel and new experiences. Whether it’s visiting national parks, exploring new cities, or heading overseas, the anticipation is building. Others are looking forward to returning to familiar places—family vacation spots, favorite camps, or simply spending more time outdoors.
Blaise Vergara states “I am going to Paris this summer with my Mom and Dad.”

Others, like Brody Sudbeck, say “I am excited to travel the country and play as much golf as I can.”

“Besides football workouts, I will be working at OCC as a caddie for the summer,” says Hunter Khoury.

Ella Igbokwe says “My family is taking my baby brother to Disney World for the first time and we are so excited to spend six days.”

As spring continues, the excitement for summer only grows. Whether it’s big travel plans or simple moments close to home, everyone seems to be looking forward to the same thing—a well-earned break and the chance to make new memories.
