This week we asked students and staff what are their favorite pumpkin-flavored food or drinks. What makes it so good? Is there a favorite place to get it from?

“Pumpkin Donuts, I like the cakeness and have to chomp on it for a long time. The texture of the donuts are super good, but no specific place is the best.” Jon Primmer ’26

“My mom makes these really good pumpkin donuts; she makes them mostly during the fall and winter, but occasionally, Lucas will ask for them during the spring and summer. The flavor is something that makes me feel in the fall spirit.” Nya Ping ’26

“My favorite fall beverage to get is the pumpkin spice shake at Culver’s, the pumpkin flavor just hits perfectly during the fall.” Wesley Wildes ’27

“Luke, Ruslan and I, recently went to Skinny Bones pumpkin patch. When we were there we purchased a ‘pie pumpkin.’ We went to Luke’s house and he made us Pumpkin Pie, and it was amazing. Now every time I eat it I think of my friends.” Igby Summers ’28
“I love pumpkin spice muffins because I feel like it’s the perfect introduction to fall. I like to make my own pumpkin spice muffins and fill them with a cream cheese filling, but sometimes I just get lazy and buy one from Starbucks. In my opinion, pumpkin spice muffins are the epitome of fall.” BT Student
“The smoothness of the inner part of the pie complements the feel of the crust, while the crust makes the pumpkin taste of the inner part stand out.” BT Student
