John, who has been playing soccer since he was three years old, reflects on how his skills and soccer IQ have developed over the years. He also shares how proud he is to have recently earned the starting outside back position on varsity. John goes on to talk about the team’s culture and how it has grown even stronger this season, with BT now ranked No. 3 in the state.

Abbi Gibbs is a current Senior at Brownell Talbot and this is her fourth year on the Verbatim staff. Abbi enjoys interviewing members of the BT community about activities and athletics. Outside of School, Abbi plays club soccer for Gretna and will be attending South Dakota State University next year to play division one soccer.

Outside of Verbatim, Nya participates in lacrosse, volleyball, basketball, and track.
