For this year’s edition of The Ivy and the Ashlar we’re piloting a new, more Earth-friendly, approach by publishing the magazine directly to Verbatim. This approach fits with our theme for this year, “Cynefin,” which is a Welsh word referring to habitat, but also holding a connotation related to “sense of place,” or what the geographer Yi-Fu Tuan has called topophilia. This edition of The Ivy and the Ashlar further builds upon our earlier story celebrating Earth Day, and is a fitting culmination to a year in which profound transformations to the BT campus will irrevocably alter our sense of this place.
All work included is the original creation of the students and faculty listed. Enjoy!
