Dr. Acosta is the Chief Curator of the Joslyn Art Museum in downtown Omaha, where she works to acquire unique art pieces and showcase underrepresented artists, while prioritizing the care and conservation of various artworks. Dr. Acosta is also a BT parent, with a daughter currently enrolled in Early Years, and she has generously given her time to take BT students around the Joslyn and offer her distinctive insights on everything from Japanese printmaking to French Impressionism.
