Lynn Painter, Bestselling author of books Better Than the Movies, The Do-Over, Betting on You, Mr. Wrong Number, The Love Wager, and Nothing Like the Movies, visited the Omaha Barnes & Noble to celebrate the release of her new novel on September 30, 2025. The Novel, titled Fake Skating, became a #1 New York Times bestseller the week of October 8, 2025. She currently lives in Nebraska with her husband and children, and attended the writing workshop at the University of Nebraska. Mrs. Painter frequently visits both the Papillion and Oakview mall Barnes & Noble to sign her works.
