Following the district competition on March 17, nine members of the Brownell Talbot speech team qualified for C1 State Speech. Thirteen entries qualified for this championship that will be held in Kearney, Nebraska on March 27. Those who qualified had to place in the top three of the district level. Those who qualified include: Mahalet Kinde (12), Jasmine Nlam (10), Adrishya Kumar (10), Nadia Jeyaram (10), Dori Primmer (11), Carter Bell (10), Kavya Dutt Bhardwaj (9), Maddison Marco (11), Angelina Bhandari (11).
Congratulations to all of those who have worked very hard the entire season to accomplish this impressive feat. And, congratulations to Coach Baylor Winters and assistant coaches Alana Doll and Abhinav Suresh for leading these students to victory all season long.
